cala pada 1 Easy and quiet
Cala Pada is a sandy beach north of Santa Eularia. Usually quiet, with good parking options. Perfect for a beach picnic, with plenty of shade. On both sides of the beach, you can also have your picnic under pine trees or on the rocks. With a beautiful view of the rocky bay to the right, and looking out on Cala Pada bay to the left.

If you’re looking for something special, then rent a colourful 2CV from Ducks United and drive it around to discover the best spots on the island. It will truly be an adventure to remember!
Benirras 2 Watching the sunset
The best place for an afternoon picnic is Benirras Beach in the north of Ibiza. While enjoying your picnic you can see the sunset while the hippies of the island are playing the drums. If you’re lucky you can even have your picnic on a table by the fishermen’s huts (on the right). On Sundays in the high season this place is very busy.

Under the pine trees you will find las Puertas del Cielo (‘the gates of heaven’), where the view over the ocean is spectacular. Walk around a little bit to find your perfect spot.Go left at the church of Santa Agnes and you will find las Puertas del Cielo after a few miles on your right.

S’Argamassa is a small, peaceful beach north of Santa Eularia, that lies just before beachclub Nikki Beach. Have your picnic on the beach or the pier. The closer to Nikki Beach you get, the more music you’ll hear!To get there, take the exit after Cala Pada towards Hotel ME. You can park under the pine trees (take the exit towards Hotel Club Augusto). Watch out: the entry is very narrow!

Right above San Antonio lies Cala Gracio, a small sandy beach. You can lay out your blanket here in the sun or the shade. But when going for an afternoon picnic you’d better walk a little further onto the rocks on the left. A little bit adventurous, but definitely worth it. You can choose a quiet spot on the rocks and enjoy the amazing sunset.

If you want to go somewhere different and more private, you can enjoy your picnic at Es Xarcu. At this small, rocky beach under the trees the only way to go into the water is via the pier, because there is a lot of seaweed. But the view is very nice!
Sa Caleta 1 On a cliff
If you’re looking for a great view of the ocean, go to Sa Caleta for your picnic. Walk up the cliff (on the left) and find your perfect spot. Afterwards you can relax on one of the beaches and jump into the sea. In the high season you may want to choose another spot, because the cliff is hot and the beach is busy.

From Cala d’Hort you can see the famous rock Es Vedra. Here you can have a great picnic on the beach. Or be a little bit more adventurous and lay out your blanket at the fishermen’s huts on the right. The sunsets are spectacular as well, so you may want to stay till late. Don’t forget to shout your sorrows to the rock. The legend goes that it absorbs negative energy. Avoid this spot during the high season.
Cala vedella Beach and shade
You will get the real holiday feel at Cala Vadella. This beautiful bay with a sandy beach has a great, relaxed atmosphere. You can have your picnic anywhere, in the sun near the sea or in the shade under the trees.
Aquas blancas Rough and tough
At Aguas Blancas, in the northeast of the island, you can find private picnic spots between the rocks. The high cliffs will give you natural shade and with the high waves this beach is amazing. Watch your blanket and basket, however, because the water level can change during the day. Avoid during the high season.You can park at the main parking for €3 or take the exit right before and park on the street and find the little path with stairs.

In the northern part of Santa Eularia (beyond the marina) you will find a tiny beach with great spots for your picnic. You can lay out your blanket on or between the rocks, under the trees or simply on the beach itself. You will have amazing views of the sea or Santa Eularia’s marina.
Plenty of parking spaces available. Take the exit to Hotel Aguas de Ibiza / Hotel Ses Estagueq and walk past Ses Savines restaurant to find the best picnic spots.
